Michele M. Iannello was appointed as Commissioner to the Erie County Water Authority in April of 2021 and is serving her second term.
Ms. Iannello has significant experience in the public and private sectors and is very active in the community. She is a former Village of Kenmore Trustee and served two terms in the Erie County Legislature. During her tenure as an Erie County Legislator, Ms. Iannello had many accomplishments and served on many legislative committees. She chaired the Community Enrichment Committee and the Green Actions Community Committee and was a member of the Energy and Environment and Public Safety Committees.
Michele is very engaged in her community and is or has been involved in several organizations, including: NYS Women Inc.; Kenmore Village Improvement Society; Clean Air Coalition; Board of Director’s for the YWCA of the Tonawanda’s; former President of the Board of Directors for Hasek’s Heroes; Ken-Ton Chamber of Commerce; Romulus Women’s Club; and Zonta Club of Kenmore.
Michele is also a past recipient of the YWCA of the Tonawanda’s 2009 Marybeth Lawton Leadership Award and the AccuTheranostics 2012-2013 Woman in Excellence Award.
